About Us
Catholic Homes New York is a nonprofit affordable housing developer focused on creating and preserving housing for families and seniors throughout the Archdiocese of New York. The organization develops new projects and preserves existing units in partnership with the Association of New York Catholic Homes and the New York Institute for Human Development, in collaboration with the Archdiocese of New York and Catholic Charities of New York.
Since the 1970s, the Church has developed more than 2,000 units of low-income housing for families and seniors across the Archdiocese. Catholic Homes New York continues this work through a pipeline of new development projects located on church and affiliate-owned sites, with an emphasis on long-term affordability and community stability.
