House Investments is a real estate investment, development, and management firm focused on multifamily housing and assisted living properties. The company was founded in 1978 by Tim McGinley and has expanded its platform to include equity raising, acquisitions, development, financing, asset management, and property operations. Since 1989, House Investments has been active in the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program and has also participated in Historic, New Markets, Community Revitalization, Opportunity Zone, and Promise Zone investments.
Over its history, House Investments has raised more than $500 million in equity from over 3,000 investors, including corporate and institutional partners. The firm has financed and acquired properties with original values exceeding $2.2 billion and has owned, developed, managed, or overseen more than 21,000 residential units.
Today, House Investments focuses on the development, ownership, management, and operation of apartment communities and assisted living facilities, serving both its own portfolio and third-party clients.
