About Us
The Leviticus Fund is a nonprofit community development financial institution (CDFI) founded in 1983 that provides financing to support affordable housing and community facilities. The organization lends to nonprofit developers and community organizations working to serve low-income and vulnerable populations.
The fund provides fixed-rate financing and technical assistance for projects including affordable and supportive housing, childcare and early education centers, charter public schools, healthcare and human services facilities, and healthy food retail. Loan products include predevelopment, acquisition, construction, bridge, mini-permanent, and working capital loans.
Leviticus operates across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Its lending activities are supported by investments from individuals, organizations, and financial institutions, creating a revolving pool of capital that is redeployed as loans are repaid to support community development projects in underserved areas.
