About Us
The Massachusetts Housing Partnership is a nonprofit organization that expands access to affordable housing and promotes housing equity across Massachusetts. Founded in 1985, MHP has deployed $6.5 billion in below-market financing for affordable housing and currently manages $1.2 billion in assets. The organization has financed the creation of more than 33,500 affordable rental homes and provided assistance to over 25,700 low- and moderate-income first-time homebuyers through its ONE Mortgage program.
MHP operates in nearly every city and town across the Commonwealth. The organization's Center for Housing Data provides online planning tools that help municipalities plan for housing growth, envision inclusive communities, and comply with state zoning requirements. MHP also serves as a policy advisor and thought partner for housing work at local, state, and national levels.
