About Us
RIHousing is a state housing finance agency created by the Rhode Island General Assembly in 1973. The organization provides financing, grants, homeownership counseling, and rental assistance to help Rhode Islanders access affordable housing across the homeownership, rental, and new construction markets. RIHousing operates as a self-sustaining corporation and receives no state funding for operations.
