Role Summary
The Associate, Real Estate Asset Management job is responsible for maximizing the value of the organization's real estate portfolio through the execution of managing, leasing, development, and dispositions of diversified, domestic real estate investments. Working independently under limited supervision, this role seeks to achieve superior returns on real estate assets through tactical oversight of property management, capital investments and leasing while operating in a highly collaborative environment.
What You'll Do
- Support a portfolio of real estate assets within a specific sector and/or directly manage individual assets
- Negotiate property management, leasing and construction contracts with support from senior management
- Recommend and analyze investment strategies for a significant portfolio of real estate investments, usually covering more than one region or geographical market
- Review the financial analysis and modeling of current and projected performance of property investments to report to senior management
- Maintain familiarity with current issues impacting the real estate management business
- Possess significant knowledge of current real estate market conditions for submarkets in which assets are located
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of real estate asset management, preferably in housing
- Proficiency in Excel

- University degree
- 3+ years of real estate asset management, preferably in housing
- Construction Management, Due Diligence, Financial Acumen, Financial Analysis, Financial Risk Management, Financial Statements, Market/Industry Dynamics, Organizational Savviness, Real Estate Investments, Real Estate Property Management

Compensation
$91,700–$132,000 annually. Actual base salary may vary based upon relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include participation in an incentive program linked to performance, such as annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans.
