Role Summary
As a Development Analyst, you play a vital role in keeping projects and business goals on track. You'll support the full project lifecycle from underwriting and market analysis through construction oversight and permanent financing conversion.
What You'll Do
- Underwrite the financial feasibility of potential projects in Excel
- Research the market viability of new projects
- Work with cities, brokers, and online resources to find new potential projects
- Negotiate with land owners
- Coordinate 3rd party reports and due diligence
- Compile financing request packages for lenders, investors, and state agencies
- Work with architects and general contractors to design new projects
- Work in conjunction with architects to obtain city entitlement approvals
- Work through closing and due diligence checklists to achieve financial closing
- Provide oversight for development under construction, compile draw requests, and ensure projects are completed on time and on-budget
- Assist in turning the project over to the Operations team at the end of construction and converting the project to permanent financing
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, or experience in multifamily development
- Experience with contract negotiation with a proven track record of excellence
- Financially astute with strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex deals efficiently
- Capacity to work cross functionally with various departments
- Superior organization skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize, and deliver results in a timely manner
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact with a wide range of people

Compensation
$63,000–$83,700. Compensation is determined by several factors that vary depending on the position, including the individual's experience, skills, and the knowledge they bring to the specific role.
