The firm represents for-profit and non-profit developers, as well as lenders, syndicators, and institutional investors on transactions involving the development and financing of multi-family housing and commercial real estate using tax-exempt bonds, conventional debt and the syndication of various tax credits.
Role Summary
CHW is seeking associate attorneys with 2–7 years of relevant experience to join their Albany, NY or Buffalo, NY offices. The firm offers a hybrid work model and values a fast-paced, challenging, and collegial work environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2–7 years of relevant experience in real estate law, finance, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in affordable housing
- Community development background
- Commercial lending experience
- Tax law expertise
- Not-for-profit law experience
- Public housing law background
Compensation
$120,000–$175,000, depending on experience, plus the opportunity for an annual bonus.
