Role Summary

What You'll Do
Portfolio Support:
- Assist with monitoring and analyzing property performance metrics such as occupancy rates, rent collections, operating expenses, and capital needs
- Conduct property reviews and support regular evaluations to identify opportunities or risks
- Support routine property inspections and ensure alignment with operational strategies
Financial and Strategic Support:
- Assist in managing budgets, financial planning, and analyses to align with portfolio goals
- Collaborate with team members to optimize Net Operating Income (NOI)
- Provide assistance in preparing financial reports, audits, and compliance submissions
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Help ensure properties comply with HUD, LIHTC, and other federal, state, and local requirements
- Identify and assist in mitigating risks, including physical, financial, and regulatory challenges
- Support corrective action plans to address compliance or performance issues
Team Collaboration:
- Partner with AVP and property managers to execute operational strategies
- Assist Development and Acquisitions teams with seamless property onboarding
Required Qualifications
- At least 3-4 years of experience in real estate, property management, or asset management, preferably in affordable housing
- Understanding of affordable housing regulations, HUD, LIHTC
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a proactive, results-focused mindset
- Communicates effectively: listens effectively and confirms understanding when needed; cooperates effectively with teammates and provides and takes feedback with ease
- Drives results: works hard to ensure understanding of all critical performance targets; lines up personal and team performance to deliver results; accepts feedback and pivots activities and behaviors when needed to improve results

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field
Compensation
$110K–$130K annually. Actual base compensation may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonus and incentive compensation on an annual basis.
