Volunteers of America National Services is the housing and healthcare affiliate of Volunteers of America, a nonprofit parent organization. Incorporated in Minnesota as a 501c3 nonprofit in 1982, the organization was established to integrate housing and health services for seniors. VOANS owns and operates a portfolio of over 240 properties containing 12,900 affordable housing units across more than 40 states and Puerto Rico. The organization also operates over 46 senior healthcare programs, including skilled nursing, assisted living, home health care, adult day services, and Program for All Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), serving approximately 2,400 to 2,500 people daily. VOANS employs over 3,100 professionals and is governed by a diverse board of directors.
