Role Summary
The Financial Analyst provides insight and guidance to support strategic growth strategies and financial decisions and is a critically important resource for annual financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and cross-company initiatives at the Dallas Regional Office.
What You'll Do
- Analyze and interpret data and financial results to influence and educate business partners
- Generate reports and perform variance analysis on a monthly and ad-hoc basis
- Analyze historical financial performance data for various departments to identify trends and help make business decisions
- Establish, measure, and report operational and financial key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Support Property Management leadership's decision making through targeted analyses and financial modeling
- Create dashboards, charts, and other visuals to effectively communicate business performance
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in Accounting or Finance
- One (1) year of relevant professional experience
- Microsoft Excel experience and experience with creating dashboards
- Analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to conceptualize strategic initiatives
- Ability to streamline functions and passion to develop skillset
- Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and eminent business acumen
