Role Summary
United Housing Partners LLC is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee a growing portfolio of LIHTC affordable housing assets. This role is responsible for optimizing financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting long-term asset value while aligning with the company's mission. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of LIHTC regulations, property operations, and financial analysis, along with the ability to collaborate across property management, development, and ownership teams.
What You'll Do
- Oversee financial and operational performance of a portfolio of LIHTC properties
- Analyze property financials, budgets, and variance reports; implement strategies to improve NOI and cash flow
- Ensure compliance with LIHTC, HUD, and other regulatory requirements
- Monitor property management companies and ensure alignment with ownership goals
- Review and approve annual operating budgets and capital plans
- Lead asset business planning, including hold/sell/refinance strategies
- Coordinate with development and acquisitions teams on lease-ups and transitions
- Manage lender, investor, and partner reporting requirements
- Conduct regular site visits and portfolio reviews
- Identify and mitigate risks across the portfolio
Required Qualifications
- 3–7+ years of experience in asset management, preferably with LIHTC or affordable housing
- Strong knowledge of LIHTC program compliance and reporting
- Experience with multifamily property financial analysis and performance optimization
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple assets and priorities simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field
- Experience with Section 8, LIHTCs, NHTFs, HOME, tax-exempt bond financing or other affordable housing programs
- Familiarity with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, etc.)
- CPA, CFA, or real estate certifications
Compensation
$125,000 annually with performance-based bonus structure
