What You'll Do
- Assist with monitoring and analyzing property performance metrics such as occupancy rates, rent collections, operating expenses, and capital needs
- Conduct property reviews and support regular evaluations to identify opportunities or risks
- Support routine property inspections and ensure alignment with operational strategies
- Assist in managing budgets, financial planning, and analyses to align with portfolio goals
- Collaborate with team members to optimize Net Operating Income (NOI)
- Provide assistance in preparing financial reports, audits, and compliance submissions
- Help ensure properties comply with HUD, LIHTC, and other federal, state, and local requirements
- Identify and assist in mitigating risks, including physical, financial, and regulatory challenges
- Support corrective action plans to address compliance or performance issues
- Partner with the AVP and property managers to execute operational strategies
- Assist Development and Acquisitions teams with seamless property onboarding
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field preferred
- At least 3–4 years of experience in real estate, property management, or asset management
- Understanding of affordable housing regulations, HUD, and LIHTC
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in affordable housing property or asset management preferred
Compensation
$110K–$130K
Benefits
Health insurance coverage, retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). This role is also eligible for discretionary bonus and incentive compensation on an annual basis.
