Team Overview
Enterprise Housing Credit Investments (EHCI) supports the organization’s mission by investing in affordable housing through the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program.
Role Summary
Enterprise Housing Credit Investments (EHCI) is seeking a Real Estate Financial Analyst to join the Acquisitions team. This role supports the analysis of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit projects and requires strong financial and analytical skills in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze affordable multifamily development opportunities financed with the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit.
- Prepare investment-grade financial models to evaluate potential investments.
- Draft Preliminary Investment Reviews (PIRs) providing detailed information on proposed investments.
- Prepare submissions to the LIHTC Deal Screening Committee (LDSC).
- Establish and maintain working relationships with affordable housing developers.
- Manage deal assignments and complete work in a timely manner to support origination efforts.
- Use Salesforce to facilitate internal communication and track key dates and project progress.
- Address non-critical business issues on behalf of Originators.
- Complete special projects for the acquisitions team as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in Finance, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or a related field, preferably with experience in real estate analysis.
- Experience in LIHTC development and/or LIHTC finance.
- Strong financial, analytical, relationship management, and writing skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to manage detailed work while maintaining a big-picture perspective.
- Demonstrated ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Required Criteria
- Ability to work evening and weekend hours during peak periods.
- Ability to travel by air, automobile, or train.
- Ability to climb stairs at project sites.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions when visiting project sites.
- Reliable transportation required.
Compensation & Benefits
Enterprise offers a comprehensive total rewards package. The pay range for this position is $85,000–$95,000. Compensation decisions may be influenced by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
