Role Summary
The Senior Investment Analyst will work with Investor Relations to structure and model the economic impact of property investments for various investment funds.
This role will build, maintain, and audit fund models within the NEF investment portfolio, determine fund capital needs, conduct economic analysis, contribute to the investor reporting process, and expand the company’s technology platform as it relates to the Fund Management function.
What You’ll Do
- Build, maintain, and audit investment models for all funds
- Work with Investor Relations to structure and modelthe economic impact/ IRR of potential property investments and incremental impact to funds
- Determine fund capital needs and call capital from investors as needed
- Compile information necessary to provide investor quarterly reports
- Monitor annual asset management fee payments and reserve fundings
- Respond to investor requests and inquiries, including but not limited to fund and property performance
- Conduct economic analysis, including changes to project equity and benefits for other internal departments
- Lead annual portfolio tax reporting effort, including overseeing variance explanations of actual property performance from projections
- Create and implement efficiencies for the Fund Management group
Required Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years of experience in real estate investments or another financial field
- A minimum B.A. in finance, economics, accounting, or equivalent job experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with a preference towards financial modeling
- The ideal candidate should be analytical, have a broad knowledge of financial markets, and have a conceptual understanding of limited partnerships
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuit of the CFA charter
- Additional enterprise and technical software experience, including but not limited to Power BI and dashboards
