Role Summary
We are seeking a Post Closing Manager to manage, facilitate, and coordinate administrative processes across all deals during the closing and construction phase to support our resyndication activities.
What You'll Do
Pre-development/Closing Phase
- Review and coordinate moving and relocation contracts between project and asset management teams for adequacy of scope and budget
- Coordinate Town Hall presentations to residents; attend Town Halls as appropriate
- Work with the PMCO to verify transfer of the project to the new legal entity
- Verify new partnership information is transferred within April Housing's record keeping systems
- Coordinate with Capital Markets team to ensure loan/bond information is entered into appropriate tracking systems
- Coordinate with Asset Management team and PMCO to arrange pest control inspections and determine needed pest remediation activities
- Interview prospective tenant relocation vendors; evaluate proposals and advise on vendor selection
Construction Phase
- Coordinate the resident relocation process between the relocation consultant and property managers, facilitating ad-hoc problem solving on tenant issues related to the renovation and resident relocation process between property management, asset management, compliance, and the relocation consultants
- Attend weekly OAC calls; as needed, facilitate further communication between contractors, property management companies, relocation consultants, and April Housing counterparties
- In coordination with relocation consultants, asset managers, and project managers, create residential onsite "hoteling plans" for select residents who cannot be temporarily relocated offsite
- Lead small team meetings focused on renovation of clubhouses
- Coordinate timing and strategy of lease-up against projected credit delivery to investor with compliance, project management, asset management, and property management teams
- Produce monthly update reports on construction and lease-up activity across resyndication, with assistance and data collected from FP&A, asset management, and project management teams
- Assist with coordination of final inspections of state agencies post rehab completion
Post Construction / Stabilization
- Support project managers, directors of construction, and compliance team to ensure all construction close-out documentation is obtained, filed, and where applicable, submitted to appropriate agencies
- Support Comms team for Grand Re-Opening and other events
- Ensure internal database captures Scope of Work completed and other relevant information
Ad Hoc / Non-Resyndication
- Collect and review due diligence as needed for other workstreams
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years' experience in multi-family facilities management, asset management, property management, or a combination thereof
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with external and internal counterparts with a "customer service" mentality
- Strong writing skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Facility with Microsoft Office suite of products
- Ability to prepare effective presentations
- Ability to manage and prioritize simultaneous and competing activities while meeting deadlines

Compensation
$105,000–$110,000 annually. This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of the Company's base compensation range for this position. Actual base compensation range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience. This job is also eligible for discretionary bonus and incentive compensation on an annual basis.
